SL Wheels + Tune Hubs

SL Wheels + Tune Hubs

Turbulence Tuned.

Reserve Wheels is proud to partner with German hub manufacturer Tune for a limited run of high-performance, high-speed wheelsets. Laced exclusively to our SL Turbulent Aero rims, Tune Pico hubs are available in the 34|37, 42|49 and 57|64 rim depths and all use straight-pull, bladed carbon spokes.

These wheels have been made for a singular purpose: Speed.

SL Rims deliver the same aero advantage, predictable handling and industry-leading durability as our standard rims. And thanks to advanced manufacturing techniques they are 30g lighter per wheel, shaving 60 grams off your wheelset. Paired exclusively with the lightest available hubs - you’ve got wheels made to compete at the sharpest end of professional racing.

Created with our Turbulent Aero technology, all three rim-depth configurations of the new Tune wheelsets are designed, tested and validated in the real world, not just the wind tunnel. These wheels have already won stages at the highest level.

Machined and assembled at the Tune factory in Buggingen, Germany, Pico hubs are a brand-new addition to the Tune hub lineup that are purpose-built for Reserve rims. The hubs are machined to align perfectly with the ERD and spoke hole offset of Reserve SL rims.

The dedicated hub design and perfect alignment mean that the carbon spokes don’t need to bend or twist between the hub and the rim, creating a stiffer, stronger wheel. On the road, this gives you a more planted feel with exceptional energy transfer for sprints and breakaways. Reduced stress at the spoke nipple, and optimized load distribution ensure long-term durability.

34|37 SL

The climber’s wheelset.

42|49 SL

All-around speed.

57|64 SL

Ultimate aero.

Made for efforts like Jonas Vingegaard’s all-out assault on Bola del Mundo during the 2025 Vuelta a España.

Light enough to climb, aero enough for a breakaway sprint. Ridden by Pauline Ferrand-Prévot for her domination of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes.

Chosen by Wout van Aert for stages like his Champs-Élysées sprint win during the final stage of the 2025 Tour.

Pico hub axles are hard anodized and the freehub body can be increased from 69 to 138 points of engagement (5.2 and 2.6 degrees of engagement, respectively) by adding additional pawls from Tune. They are machined from 7075-T6 alloy and weigh 275g per set, including the driver body and rotor lockrings. Pico hubs share several small parts with Tune Micro and Nano hubs.
