Warranty
1. Limited Lifetime Warranty
Reserve Wheels will, at its sole discretion, replace any Reserve rim or Fillmore Valve that is damaged under normal riding conditions. This warranty is available only to the original owner and remains in effect for the lifetime of the rim or valve. If you damaged your wheel in a crash, see the next section.
2. Crash Replacement Policy
Accidents happen. Whether it’s backing over a wheel, forgetting to thread in the axle on your roof rack, or getting caught in a pile-up at a local crit race, we’ve got you covered. If your wheel is damaged in a crash, we offer a discounted crash replacement to help you get back to riding without breaking the bank.
3. Aluminum Rim Warranty
The following damage is covered under warranty for our aluminum rims:
- Dented rim, not holding air: Covered under warranty
- Seam separation: Covered under warranty
- Crack at spoke hole: Covered under warranty
4. Air Pressure Guidelines
To maintain warranty eligibility, we recommend following these air pressure limits:
- Maximum riding pressure for road and gravel rims: 80 psi (5.5 bar)
- Maximum riding pressure for mountain rims: 40 psi (2.75 bar)
- These limits apply to both tubeless and tubed setups.
- Any damage resulting from exceeding these pressure limits is not covered under this warranty.
5. Exclusions, Limitations, and Disclaimers
The sole remedy available under this express warranty and all implied warranties is the replacement of defective parts with components of equal or greater value, as determined by Reserve Wheels in its sole discretion.
The warranty does not cover labor costs, custom finishes, normal wear and tear, or damage from commercial use. The warranty is void if the part is modified from its original condition in any manner or used outside normal intended use, or contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations. The warranty for damage arising from accidents, crashes and other impacts is limited to offered replacement at a reduced charge as set forth above. Any implied warranties (including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose) which may not be disclaimed under applicable law are limited in duration to the period set forth above or the applicable statute of limitations, whichever is shorter.
The foregoing warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Reserve Wheels. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all other express and implied warranties (including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are hereby disclaimed. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Santa Cruz Bicycles or any of its owners, officers, employees, representatives, agents, or affiliates (or any of their respective successors or assigns) be responsible or otherwise liable for any direct, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or ownership of its products, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other legal theory.
Some states and countries do not allow some or all of the foregoing exclusions or limitations, so they may not apply to you. If any portion of this warranty (or its exclusions or limitations) is deemed invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, it shall be modified to be valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by such law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state and country to country.
6. Right to Refuse Warranty Claims
We didn't think we needed to include this, but our Warranty is so good, that some riders just couldn't get enough of it. For this reason, we have included the below:
Reserve Wheels reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that, at our sole discretion, is determined to be abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with the terms stated herein. For all Reserve wheels, the lifetime warranty applies only to the original owner. Situations not covered under warranty are eligible for replacement at a reduced cost.
