With the option of either 29" or 32" we designed a wheel-specific rim profile for each, to help optimize the balance of weight and stiffness for each sizes' application.

Internal Rim Width

A wider profile more closely aligns the tire sidewall with the bead of the rim. This provides additional support and increased grip on the trail.

SL Rims + Carbon Spokes

We offer the 29" 30|XC Wheels with our SL rims, Vonoa carbon spokes and DT 180 hubs. This package offers ultimate precision and unparalleled power transfer. Spare spokes included.

Increased Spoke Count

A stiffer, more responsive wheel is a welcome addition to any XC racer’s arsenal. Increased spoke count also gives you predictable and reliable descending performance.

What's with the raised square-shaped area around the spokes?

That's material right where you need it. With information from testing in our carbon lab in hand, we set about determining how to build the strongest rim possible, and part of the result is the square-shaped reinforcements you can see around the spoke holes.
