Sidekick eliminates the forces of pedal kickback and chain vibration at their source by disconnecting the drivetrain from suspension, creating a deadband area where the chain is isolated.
With the pawls disengaged during coasting, so that kickback and chain slap are essentially eliminated, Sidekick wheels are whisper-quiet. Providing a more immersive riding experience, where the only sounds you hear are your tires on the trail.
Efficient and predictable suspension means better traction and more control on every full suspension mountain bike.

You can choose the amount of deadstroke in Sidekick hubs. Between 12°, 15° and 18°, you can fine tune for personal preference, bike kinematics and even the terrain you’re riding.
